Q Part 1: Briefly discuss where a spacecraft might experience the strongest gravitational force... on the Earth, on the Moon, or in the middle of both (be clear about the role that "net force" plays)? Then, explain what a planet in "orbit" actually means according to Newton's Law of Gravitation & his cannonball thought experiment. Part 2: Considering there's no magnetic charge, what role do neutrons play in an atom?

When a spacecraft leaves the earth and enters into space, there are two forces acting on it as one side the earth’s gravitational force is pulling it and on the other side the moon’s gravitational force is lulling towards it, so the net force acting on the spacecraft is the difference of the two forces acting on opposite directions. Since the earth’s gravitational force is stronger than that of the moon, therefore, the spacecraft will experience the strongest gravitational force on the earth.
